Top 5 Travel and Local Apps in Romania Q4 2021

Throughout the fourth quarter of 2021, the top travel and local apps in Romania demonstrated interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel showed a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 6.1K in late September and dipping to approximately 4.5K in mid-October. However, there was a significant recovery towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 9K in the final week of December. Active users for Booking.com saw a similar trend, starting at around 145K, experiencing a slight drop mid-quarter, and then surging to 184K by the end of December.

AmParcat experienced a consistent range in weekly downloads, starting from 5.5K and fluctuating between 3.1K and 5K throughout the quarter. The active users for AmParcat remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 7.4K at the start of the quarter to around 6.4K by the end of December.

Google Earth maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.4K in late September and showing minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 4.9K. Active users for Google Earth remained fairly constant, starting at 35.2K and ending at 35.7K.

Star Taxi saw an upward trend in weekly downloads, starting at 2.9K in late September and rising significantly to 5.9K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, beginning at 10.7K and reaching 14K by the end of December.

Yourwallet experienced a peak in weekly downloads in mid-October with around 7K downloads, followed by a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 931 downloads. Active users saw a spike in late October at 9.9K, with a subsequent decrease to 5.8K by the end of December.
